Personal quality resting time and sleep are critical components when aiming to enhance overall health and wellbeing, as well as increase productivity and longevity. In today’s modern fast-paced world, society and economic values are at large and often regrettably based on quantitative productivity and outputs instead of pursuing or deriving quality. For example, there is an incredible emphasis placed on the concept of time and money spent or made at work, projects or programmes, or how much we have done within a single day, rather than cherishing and augmenting its yielding quality which we have received by, or given to, something or someone.
Whilst a quantitative energy world-view and reciprocation may work for some, it will eventually deplete the resources of our planet and bank account when inclined to living predominantly on credit. Furthermore, fluctuating above or below of our energy optimum over a lengthy time-period will damage our personal energy system, wellbeing, physical and mental health, and longevity. A common misconception to believe is that we can push and go beyond, when in fact our body and mind are displaying symptoms of energy depletion, fatigue or burn-out. At first these signs are very subtle, and might simply be presented as frequently forgetting important things, a sore throat, a common cold or body aches. However, when ignoring these signs repetitively, and not giving ourselves critical rest time, we will eventually deplete our energy reserves to the extent that we are more prone to discomforts, diseases and serious illness which can later become chronic and life-threatening. Valuing and adopting healthy rest routines and “Sleep Hygiene” are therefore essential to improving and maintaining our health and wellbeing.
Our personal Human Design blueprint has profound relevance within our personal circadian cycles, as it regulates and determines our flow of energy. Based on our Human Design blueprint, we distinguish between “High” and “Low” energy personality types. Because our personal energy type is holistically entwined with our nervous and endocrine system, the need for rest and energy recharge will therefore differ. When living in resonance with our unique body-energy blueprint and its innate relationships and rhythms, our flow and quality in life naturally become re-balanced and optimised. Day to day life becomes easier to manage and more pleasant, as the right people, opportunities and experiences are magnetised towards our direction, hence emitting an energy field of health, wealth and harmony.
